The finale episode of Awake was so crazy. I was so confused and still am. I feel like I should stick with my theory that he is in a coma. My other explanations don’t seem to add up. My sister told me that one of her friends had the same theory…so coma, it is. lol

Anyway it’s a well written show. The concept is really good.

I am excited for the second season. (This show trumps Inception.)

Things I did when I was younger that I wouldn’t dare do now…

1. Climbing trees

2. Jumping off tall structures with an open umbrella

3. Digging for bugs/ worms/ insects (well crickets and grasshoppers are still fun to catch and fireflies - No. I don’t do this often. lol)

4. Knick Knock

5. Chase butterflies

6. Make “food platters” with grass, plants, and other earthy materials

7. Fight boys my age (At my age, you call the police or scream for help. lol)

8. Spin in a circle more than 15 times (My equilibrium or something doesn’t allow for that to happen gracefully.)

I’ll think of more later. lol

My allergies have been acting up so bad this Spring/Summer. I have never had to take a pill everyday and use nasal spray so often in my life.

It’s been getting better though, but it’s so annoying.

Work tomorrow…I really need more hours.

We can be so worried about the future, when we should be focusing on living on our lives as of now. The future is something we eventually catch up to everyday.

Some ajummas are so rude. They try to bomb rush you in grocery stores and malls. I just keep walking straight and if they get bumped into, they just get bumped into. (Actually, I never hit any of them. They always get out of the way when they realize no one in America thinks they rule the world.)

Some of them are extra nice though…By the way, the ajummas I’m talking about are the  FOBs or the ones with the old school mindsets. It’s like they are one way or the other- extremely nice or just careless. Just to be clear, I’m not saying this is true about all older Korean women.

Another thing about Korean culture is that they are big on food. If they offer you food and you decline, some will try to force it on you or insist at least once more. Personally, I don’t like to be fed like a two year old and don’t necessarily like chopsticks being shoved in my face…well I shouldn’t say ‘shoved’. They aren’t that forceful about it. lol…And of course rice and kimchi are always must-haves, no matter what the meal…or so it seems.

Good Samaritans…

So my car was acting stupid tonight and decided not to inform me that the gas was low. The fuel light came on after it cut off and I was right at a traffic light in the turning lane closes to the left. My hazard lights were working either…BONUS! Anyway I called 411 for the nearest gas station and grabbed the gas tank out of the trunk. My sister decided to stay behind to direct traffic around the car, while I walked to the station. It’s funny how many women have nasty attitudes about someone else in crisis. One woman yelled out her car like a mad man, “PUT YOUR HAZARDS ON!!!” “Oh. Thanks for the advice. Why didn’t I think of that?” That idiot should have realized they probably weren’t working or else they’d be on. She should have asked if they worked or not first. As a matter of fact, a guy said, “Your hazards aren’t working, are they?” Anyway only 4 woman offered their help and over 15 guys. I’ve come to the conclusion that maybe most women feel they don’t know enough about cars to bother to ask if assistance is needed or they couldn’t care less about the situation. Men, on the other hand, possibly have more vehicle knowledge or they’re first instinct is to want to help someone out in a predicament like this one. The women were also the ones honking their horns and losing it. Men seem to have a bit more sense and compassion. Women don’t seem to use their brains and just allow their own emotions and impatience to overcome them. Also the women who even offered to help were either our age (early 20’s) or mothers (I guess the motherly instinct kicked in and the younger women could identify with us b/c of our age). Men of all ages from elderly to teen asked us if we needed a ride or something. It’s funny though because I would imagine a guy feeling like a creeper for asking a girl if they need a ride and feel like they shouldn’t ask. Although when they did ask, most said they understood why we declined or let us know they had their mom, sister or someone other than just them in the car. All in all, some people are really nice and others have no manners. In the end, I walked a few blocks to BP and met back up with my lil’ sis. Then a guy (with a foreign accent) helped us pour gas in the car and his girlfriend or someone took pics of him being the hero. lol. :) Anyway it has been some night. *sigh
